Caine’s Arcade-SLJ

For this activity we would like to know about your favourite game. It can be a board game, a card game, a game that you play outside with friends (e.g., rugby) or a quiet game that you play by yourself.
On your blog, tell us about your favorite game. What is it called? How do you play it?
So for this activity I will be telling you what is my favorite game to play that i might play by myself or with someone . So this game I will love to play is MANHUNT . So this game manhunt is actually popular in my primary school (Wesley primary school) . I actually play this game on morning tea and lunch with my friends and some boys .
So how to play this game :
1.Pick who is playing (anyone)
2.you have a choice of how many people play .
3. So you have to have 2 teams and pick your people to be in your team.
4. One team has to start first and count and chase the each person from the other team.
5. To get them out you have to hold or tag them by saying well there's a lot of saying to tag someone but normally we would say 123 your in with me.
6. If your team tagged each person from the other team then its their turn to chase your team.
Thats all , thank you people for reading my Blog and PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT BYE.

  1. Tēnā koe Lillian, I hope you are having a fantastic morning so far. What are you up to today?

Thanks for telling me about your favourite game and explaining how you play it! Manhunt sounds so fun and it sounds like a great game to play with lots of people which means more people can be included in the fun! At school, do you just play it on the field?

My favourite game is spotlight which is where one (or more depending on how many people are playing the game) people with a torch are in and they count to 30 or 60 at the base, and the rest of the people go and hide, and then the person who’s in has to find them, but there’s a catch! The people who are hiding can try make it to base without being caught, and the first person who makes it to base wins! We always used to play this game up at Tawharanui Regional Park when we were camping there over the summer, and there were always so many kids playing and the adults would always be in! Have you ever played spotlight or been to Tawharanui?

Are you playing much Manhunt over the summer? If so, have fun!

    Ka kite,
    Eliza :)

  2. Ahiahi pai Lillian,

How is your day going today? Have you got plans for the weekend? I’m going to be spending this weekend swimming with my friends and family in the sun, yay! :)

Just a gentle reminder that the Summer Learning Journey finishes next Friday (24th January) so you have until then to do as many activities as you can. Remember that the more activities you do, the more points you gain and the higher the chance of you winning some really cool prizes!

Thanks for posting and we hope to see some more awesome work from you in the next week!

    Ka kite,
    Eliza :)
